If Friday is a holiday, this presentation will be held on the preceding Thursday. Childcare is provided at no charge to family for children below the age of 12.

The Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT version 5 - online) will be given today to military members who have a need to test in a language other than English. The American College Testing examination

The ACT is used by many colleges and universities as a component of their admissions requirements and also as one of the qualifiers for certain military programs. This monthly test is offered only to active duty personnel who have 1 year or less remaining on active duty or have a military program requirement for testing. Unit approval is required.   5:00 PM Fish Tales Marina :: Sailboat licensing course

Get your sailboat license at Fish Tales Marina

Upon completion of this course you will be licensed to sail a small sailboat by the US Naval Sailing Association. This license is recognized by all US military and civilian marinas. This Course will be held over 4 days at the Fish tales Marina 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on a Thursday and Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on a Saturday and Sunday. 4,000 fireworks will be displayed in the night of Miyajima island! Some of them are water firework which will be displayed from the surface of ocean. This is very popular firework display. Strongly recommend to take train from Iwakuni station and get off at Miyajima-guchi station. You still need to take ferry to go to Miyajima island. Only this date, public transportation will add the extra schedule going to Hiroshima or Iwakuni. In case of heavy rain, this event will be postponed to Aug. 15 or Aug. 16.

Our standard dive course runs Monday-Friday 5 – 9 p.m. (classroom / pool) and Saturday-Sunday 6:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. (open ocean dives).

Please come in and sign up at least a week in advance (the sooner the better). You’ll be able to get your study materials ahead of time moreover you’ll save your spot in the class as seats are limited (8 max) and fill up fast.

Climb Mt. Fuji and relax in Tokyo
Sign up begins on June 20th at the IT&T office.

The cost is $130 and includes round trip transportation and Mt. Fuji tour guides. Lodging at the New Sanno Hotel is additional and payment is based on rank. Hotel fees will be paid at time of sign up. See IT&T for New Sanno Hotel rates. Participants must be at least 10 years old. No alcohol will be allowed on the bus. Bus leaves IronWorks Gym at 1030pm on Aug.20th and will return 10pm, Aug. 24th.
