Hours: Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.
The Child Development Center (CDC) offers full day care for children six weeks to five years of age (not enrolled in kindergarten). The CDC complies with Department of Defense standards and is NAEYC accredited. A variety of planned group and individual activities are tailored to children's developmental needs are offered. Hourly care is offered on a space available basis. The CDC is located next to Sakura Movie Theater and maintains a list of certified home childcare providers.

Aqua's Aquarium Trip

Located in Hamada, across from Hamada Beach, this aquarium has 500 species and 10,000 exhibits. Some of the attractions include: A Sea Floor Tunnel, Coral Reef, Sea Lion, Seal Pool, Touch Pool an Aqua's Land, which is a small park for children to run around and play in. All children 9 and below must be Accompanied by a Parent or assigned to a Parent Volunterr attending this off station trip. First come, first serve sign up starts Monday, 01 March 2010. Student/Child Admission Fee: 500 Yen and Adult: 1,500 Yen.

Easter Egg Hunt

Children, Youth & Teen Programs will sponsor a Base-Wide Easter Egg Hunt at the North-side Football field for children 0-12 years old. Come out and enjoy an afternoon in the sunshine with Peter Cottontail, searching for colorful candy filled eggs. Sure to be a big hit with the youngsters.

Kids Serve Too. April is the "Month of the Military Child". Come join us at the MAC Dome as we celebrate our youngest heroes. Entertainment, games, face painting, information and prizes! Fun food and beverages will be available for purchase.
