Caught up with intense thoughts, feelings, and behavior? Defensive when criticized or given information? Quick to take offense and act out with resentment and hostility? Caught in a rush of excitement that gives permission to act out in anger? There is hope! Everyone gets angry, and sometimes it makes us say and do things that we don't really mean. Learn sure-fire, quick techniques to banish all unhappy feelings including anger. This 8 week interactive group (adapted from Get Your Angries Out Anger Management Course) will teach teenagers how to turn mad into glad, channel anger into productive reactions, relax, and understand anger. Join us once a week for an hour and learn ways to manage your anger. Class is held on Mondays in building 411, room 222. Contact 253-4526 for more information and to sign up.

Successfully passing one or more of the available 34 College Level Examination Program (CLEP) and 36 DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSST) count as college credit. Check with your college to see which tests they will credit to your degree plan. You can find study guides at the Library as well as online at www.nko.navy.mil.

Active duty members can test for FREE! Civilians pay only $77 per CLEP and $100 per DSST. Testing is offered at 1 p.m. every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. An extra session is offered on Tuesdays at 3 p.m. Call 253-3392/3855 for information.

This five-week weight management class will educate the Marine or Sailor in healthy eating and help them develop lifestyle habits to attain and maintain a healthy weight.
