PRAXIS tests are teacher certification exams. The next testing date is 27 April 2010. To meet the strict DANTES/PRAXIS ordering deadline anyone desiring to test on the Tuesday, 27 April 2010 testing session MUST bring a military/DOD photo ID and register in person at the Education Office, Room 127, Bldg 411, no later than 1200, Friday, 12 March 2010. Sorry, but no telephone call registrations can be taken. However, please call 253-3855 for more information.

Interested teens ages 13 - 18 come out and participate in a forum to have your ideas heard and make our Teen Program better than ever!

14 teams will be participating in this event. A limited number of lanes will be available for open bowling during this time. Reservations will not be accepted.
Cosmic bowling will begin immediately afterwards.

Day 2: Sightseeing at the famous Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion) and Ryoanji Temple, both of which are registered as World Heritage sites. Time will be set aside for lunch and shopping at Kyoto station area.

The Youth & Teen Center will be traveling to the Sasebo Teen Center to meet new friends and participate in various activities. Bring extra money for food and shopping.

The 2010 St.Patrick's Day "Run on the Green" is a 2.5k and 5k Fun Run event for the entire family. The event will be conducted at the Torii Pines golf course. Check-in starts at 0800. The 2.5k run is for youth and teens, and will start at 0900. The 5k run is for adults and will start at 0930. Contact the IronWorks Gym at 253-5654/6578 for more information.

Spend the day shopping or visit Hiroshima Peace Park. Bus departs the Hornet's Nest at 8 a.m.

Open to youth ages 10-15. Build and program "ROBOTS" that obey your every command! Create thousands of robotic inventions. Interactive Servo Motors make your robot walk and move.

Every Saturday, Sunday, and Holiday at 2 p.m., the Marine Lounge hosts it's weekly Pool Tournament's. Saturday's are Nine Ball Tournaments and Sunday's are Eight Ball Tournaments. There is a five dollar entry fee. Cash prizes are awarded to First and Second places. See you there. Open to all base personnel ages 18 and older.

Come check out Boss's Night at the K-Bar Lounge from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, March 13 2010. Sergeant Major Calvin will be the Guest Bartender.
