The Single Maine Program provides recreation activities, trips, community relations events, volunteer activities and quality of life venues. The SMP is a 24-hour recreation center with internet, TV/movie lounge (with more than 3,500 movies), ping-pong, air hockey, foosball, Playstation 2 & 3, Wii, X-Box 360, Game Cube, and full service gym with lockers, sauna, showers and towels. Gear for camping, fishing and snowboarding are available to check out for free (minimal charge for trips) to single and unaccompanied service members.

Single Marine Program Renovation: Sunday, November 1, 2009 - Tuesday June 1, 2010

The recreational areas will be under renovation until March 1, 2010.

The SMP Cyber Café is located in Bldg. 1345 next to the Wood Hobby Shop: it is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

The SMP Gym area will reopen on November 7, 2009 –and will remain open until March 1, 2010: it is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

The SMP Gym will be closed on March 1, 2010 for renovation and will remain closed until June 1, 2010.

The SMP recreational areas (Computers, Pool Tables, T.V. Lounge, etc) will reopen on March 1, 2010, this will replace the SMP Cyber Café in building 1345.

All SMP Trips are still schedule continue and can be purchased at the Marine Lounge and SMP Cyber Café.
