Barracks Eats: Mac & Cheese

Get your ingredients ready for the Semper Fit Health Promotion Barracks Eats virtual cooking series. Learn how to make an easy dish using items available in the barracks!

Ingredients/Tools List:

  • 1 cup whole wheat pasta
  • 1 head of broccoli or 1-2 cups frozen broccoli
  • Tbsp ground flax seed or flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened milk
  • ½ cup shredded cheese
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Microwave
  • Coffee maker or electric kettle
  • 2 small mixing bowls
  • Mixing spoon
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Cutting board
  • Knife
  • Optional: rotisserie or canned chicken, deli meat, etc.
