classes & training

Information Referral Relocation provides resources about services and programs available at MCAS Iwakuni and civilian agencies, both on and outside the base. Workshops and training for relocation are also provided. Simple language assistance is available as well.

welcome aboard

The Welcome Aboard Brief, is a mandatory brief for all SOFA status personnel 13 years and older, including those on TAD or UDP orders for 30 days or more.

This brief is an orientation to life aboard MCAS Iwakuni. Proper civilian attire is permitted, and encouraged to be worn by all attendees.

Childcare is available through the CDC/SAC on a first-come, first-served basis.

Do you want to be a leader? Come and learn with us how to assist a servicemember transitioning to Iwakuni. Learn to prepare for their arrival and welcome newcomers as well as their families. We can also facilitate this training in your location upon request.
